Cocktails (Father/Daughter Records)
"Cocktails blend sun-baked fuzz with Pacific Coast Highway-ready melodies, stirred in turn by frontman Patrick Clos' Elvis Costello-like sneer." - SPIN Magazine

Dog Party (Asian Man Records)
Although both are still in high school, sisters Lucy and Gwendolyn Giles have been playing music together since the insanely young ages of 6 and 9, respectively. Hailing from Sacramento CA, Gwendolyn (guitars, vocals – 17 years old) and Lucy (drums, vocals – 14 years old), create music with tons of harmonies that make these teen sisters sound like they’ve been touring for years. In fact, they’ve been turning heads in their hometown for some time, have already toured Europe last year, and recently put the finishing touches on Lost Control, their forthcoming album for Asian Man Records.

Al Lover (Pink Slime)
In short, Al Lover is a producer from San Francisco, but there's more layers to his wall of sound then meets the ear. Over the last few years he has gained much notoriety for his melding of contemporary and past garage and psychedelic rock into harsh yet spacey abrasive beats. Influenced as much by The 13th Floor Elevators as DJ Shadow, Al Combines crunchy drums, shaky percussion, chopped samples and layers of textured effects to create an unexplored path for psychedelic music, offering an earthy and loose approach that sounds more like you're listening to a DMT fueled psych band than a beat made on an MPC.

Twin Steps (1-2-3-4 Go!)
Hailing from Oakland California, Twin Steps is a sample based quartet known for their impressive live show as well as infusing elements of classic soul, pop, and experimental rock 'n' roll. The outcome of their sound is a surreal blend of surfy guitar licks, syrupy '60's pop melodies with intricate drum beats, and yelping harmonies. The band creates modernity from tradition and establishes unbridled joy on a plane of tonal madness.
