SunsetSF is proud to announce a new collaboration with an old friend. Chef Josie Smith-Malave has returned
to the Bay Area after a massive run of globetrotting that saw her open
restaurants in Brooklyn and Miami and star on Bravo's "Top Chef". Her
constant exploration of cuisine that she dubs "Global Soul" and the
excitement she brings to everything she does has made her one of the
culinary world's true crossover stars. This November, Chef Josie
returned to both Top Chef Season 10 and San Francisco to turn the
kitchen at THEE PARKSIDE in Potrero
Hill into a pop-up hub for her Global Soul cuisine movement.
JOSIE ALSO LOVES THE FUNK. So SunsetSF will begin collaborating with
her on a weekly Sunday Brunch music affair entitled "BEATS FOR BRUNCH".
From 11-3 every Sunday, SunsetSF's choice DJs will spin the musical
equivalent of "Global Soul"... This week...MOTION POTION.
